Dear members and friends of Auburn UU,
We bring you the sad news that longtime church member Rich Livingston died on November 30. His memorial service will take place in our sanctuary at the First Universalist Church of Auburn on Sunday, January 21, at 2 pm. Our own Kitsie Claxton, worship associate and chaplin, and Glenn Turner, our former district minister, will officiate the ceremony.
Rich Livingston had a long history of church involvement, He began attending our church in the 1990s with his wife Barbara (who died in 2009), and their son Luke attended our religious exploration classes. Rich served on the board and as board president; he was also a worship associate and a long-time participant of a small-group ministry.
