New to UU at Auburn UU
The First Universalist Church of Auburn will host “New to UU,” an informational session about the church on Sunday, May 19, from 11am-3pm. Rev. Patrick McLaughlin and the Membership Committee will introduce newcomers to the ministries of the church, and to the Unitarian Universalist faith.
Lifelong member Ms. Esther Tucker will give a brief talk about the history of the church. Board President Anne Perron will lead a tour of the iconic building, with its carpenter gothic sanctuary, Hook &Hastings organ and recently restored Rose Window. A light luncheon will be served.
Attendance is not a commitment to join Auburn UU, but it is a requirement if you wish to sign the Membership Book. For further questions, contact Paula Spruill at pbsauburn@gmail.com.
