Membership

As you begin to explore becoming a member, we ask that you attend several services and see if you feel this is the spiritual home for you. We invite you to visit the Membership Information table in the vestry during Coffee Hour to find pamphlets that may provide helpful information. You can fill out the green Visitor Information card found in the hymnal rack and place it in the collection plate to receive more specific information. Speaking with a member of the Membership Committee is always a good option if you prefer having a one-on-one conversation. Please take advantage of all the resources available while you consider joining our congregation.

Before you join, we ask that you attend our New Member classes in order to learn about Unitarian Universalism and what membership means. To attend classes or to join our church, ask to speak to a representative of the Membership Committee. Following the classes, you may sign the Membership Book and you will be recognized and introduced at a worship service.

New Member classes are held twice yearly, usually in the spring and again in the fall. Participating in the series of classes does not obligate you to join the church. Instead, the experience is meant to allow you to get to know our faith tradition, and us, a little better.
